Police arrested the principal of Risti Bikas Boarding School Hari Krishna Ojha, 39, of Kyamin-6 in Tanahun on September 6 on the charges of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl. The girl was taken to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara after the girl suffered health issues after returning from school on September 2. Police said that interrogation following a medical report that the girl had sustained wounds to her private parts revealed that Principal Ojha sexually assaulted the girl. The family of the girl filed a complaint at the District Police Office on September 4 prompting the arrest of the accused. Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the DPO said that the rape charges were pressed against the accused and legal action has been initiated.
