Police in Rolpa arrested a youth who was on the run after being found guilty in a rape case. He was arrested from Liwang -7 where he was hiding. The arrested was identified as Sujan KC aka Dhole, a resident of Nepalgunj municipality-13. Accusing KC of raping a minor girl, the girl's family had registered a complaint against him in the district court on December 10, 2011. The district court however declared him innocent. Not being satisfied with the district court's decision the victim's family appealed against the court's decision in Appellate court Tulsipur. The appellate court eventually declared KC guilty of raping the minor girl and sentenced him to eight years in prison. He was on the run ever since. On Friday police arrested him from Liwang. According to Inspector Sekhar Jung Malla of DPO Rolpa KC has been sent to serve his remaining sentence by the court.
