Dhamilikuwa VDC- 2, 18-year-old Anita Magarati filed a complaint against her 22-year-old husband Hari Magarati on the charges of polygamy on September 6 in the police. In the complaint filed the woman reported that her husband got married to another woman without her consent while she went to visit her parents after suffering domestic violence from him. According to the woman's mother Parbati Nepali, the accused man regularly physically assaulted her daughter ever since their marriage. Police initiated a search for the absconded perpetrator.
