The Dhanusha District administration has clamped an indefinite curfew in Janakpur from 6 am on Friday in view of “Chalu Janakpur Bharu” (Let’s fill Janakpur) campaign called by Madhesi morcha. A huge number of security personnel have been deployed in the main entry points and chowks of the city. The campaign is being organised to strengthen the strike that has been underway since 25 days. Meanwhile, defying the curfew orders, protesters have come out at various places in the city and are burning tyres.
