Timber smugglers set forest check post on fire in Dhanusha

Timber smugglers have attempted to kill the forest guards of Bishrampur area forest check post in Mithila municipality by setting them on fire. Yesterday night while the forest guards were still asleep in the check post smugglers sprinkled petrol on the check post and set it on fire. The guards were saved after they felt the petrol on their body and ran away in time. There were two guards at the time of the incident. Forest guard Nabin Thakur informed that the smugglers set the check post on fire immediately after they ran away to save their lives. Security personnel from area police ofice Dhalkebar and locals took the fire under control later.
