The District Administration Office Kailali has lifted an indefinite curfew for a day imposed at Dhangadhi on Wednesday. According to Assistant Chief District Officer Uday Bahadur Singh, the curfew order was lifted considering the Teej Festival. The DAO has allowed devotees to perform tradition rituals from dawn to dusk, however, prohibitory order is still intact. Likewise, The DAO has lifted the indefinite curfew order clamped in Tikapur and Bhajani Trishakti Municipality from 6 am to 4 pm. The DAO had imposed curfews in Tikapur, it’s adjoining 10 VDS and Dhangadhi Municipality after the tragic incident that occurred on 24 August 2015.
