A policeman died after his fellow opened fire in Thokarpa Police Post in Sindhupalchowk district on Sunday night. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bishwa Adhikari, Policeman Resham Bahadur Thapa of Pulchowk VDC in the district died after Ashok Baral, a permanent resident of Sunkhani VDC in the district, opened a three-not-three rifle on Thapa’s stomach. DSP Adhikari further said that the critically injured Thapa died on the way to hospital, while his body is kept in the district headquarters, Chautara. Police have launched the search operation to nab the wrongdoer.
