Three vehicles including ambulance vandalised in Taplejung

An unidentified group vandalized three vehicles including an ambulance in Taplejung Monday night. The ambulance (Me 1 Cha 1926) belonging to the Nepal Gramin Sewa Manch and two parked jeeps with registration number plate Me 1 Ja (1946) and Na 1 Ja (3215) were vandalized, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shantiraj Koirala. The ambulance was vandalized when it was returning to Taplejung from Panchthar after dropping a patient. Manch Chairman Dinesh Adhikari said that the front part of the ambulance was damaged while the windscreens of the two jeeps were also smashed in the attack. District Vice-Chairman of the Federal Limbuwan Party Nepal, Indra Shrestha, said although the vehicles were vandalized during the bandh (shut down) called by the party, there was no involvement of the party in it.
