The young right activists and students have held a protest at New Baneshwar on October 2 protesting against the blockaded imposed by the Indian Government. During the protest, they carried placards and banners and played the tune of the national anthem in front of the parliament building. They asked the leaders not to compromise on nationality, begin diplomatic steps to end the unofficial blockade, hold meaningful dialogue with Tarai-Madhes based parties and sign an agreement with other countries besides Indian for supply for fuel. The blockade has affected the flow of vehicles from India to Nepal while the factories and schools are on the brink of closure.
