2 LPG dealers arrested on charge of black marketing

Two dealers of LPG gases have been arrested for overcharging customers in Chitwan district on Friday. 51-year-old Krishna Prasad Sapkota of Bharatpur and 50-year-old Dhruv Prasad Paudel of Bharatpur had been charging Rs 5,000 per cylinder of cooking gas to customers, although the market price is just Rs 1,400, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.
Sapkota is the operator of Chitwan Gas Pvt. Ltd in Bharatpur-5, whereas Paudel, is the owner of DP Suppliers. Ten LPG cylinders were also confiscated from Sapkota's house on Thursday, police informed.
