The Kailali District Administration Office has lifted declaration of riot-hit-area in and around Dhangadhi sub-metropolis and Tikapur municipality. A press release issued by the District Administration Office following a meeting of the District Security Committee on Wednesday evening stated that the declaration of riot-hit-zone has been lifted with an effect in the areas in view of gradual improvement in security situation and celebration of the big festival of Nepali people, Bijaya Dashami. The District Security Committee meeting also decided to take initiative to construct a bus stop in the area towards east from Boradandi Barrack of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-4, enforce special security strategy in Dashain and Tihar festivals and keep continuing the distribution of fuel as per the quota system.
