Cylinder bomb planted at NC leader’s house defused

A cylinder bomb planted at Nepali Congress lawmaker Surendra Prasad Yadav’s house in Rajbiraj, Saptari, was defused by a Nepal Army team on Monday. A bomb dispotal team of Shree Dal battalion of Nepal Army disposed the bomb after two hours today. The bomb was planted on the rear of lawmaker Yadav’s house. Some books with pictures of Tarai Mukti Morcha coordinator Jaya Krishna Goit were found from the scene. However, police said no group or person has taken the responsibility for the planting of the bomb.
