Rape convicted father sent to jail

The District Court of Taplejung on Monday convicted a man of raping his six-year-old daughter and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. The 37-year-old man was had raped his daughter three months ago. The court also instructed the government to look after the girl, whose mother had died one and a half years ago.
