The district court of Ilam has sentenced Ganeshman Mukhiya, a rape accused man from Soyang VDC-3 to seven years in prison on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl on August 15. He was being held under the custody of police in the same case. The verdict issued by a bench of justice Nawaraj Dahal found the rape accused guilty according to the rape act of Muluki Ain and was slapped the jail sentence along with rupees twenty-five thousands in fine.
