The local residents of Jaleswor have padlocked the District Hospital, Jaleswar in Mahottari allegedly for negligence in medical treatment. As a result of the padlocking that took place on Friday evening, internal and out-patient services have been affected. Manoj Kumar Nayak, a resident of Jaleswor-6 said the padlocking was done after the lab in-charge did not help with blood tests of his new born nephew, but instead asked him to go to clinics outside the hospital. The locals have also alleged the hospital staff of negligence leading to inefficient services to the people.
