Boy injured in SSB men's beating in Kanchanpur

A Nepali boy severely thrashed by the Indian SSB (Sima Surakshya Bal) personals in Kancanpur on Sunday evening. 13-year-old Bishal Sarki, son of Birbal Sarki of Dodhara Chandni municipality-7 in Kanchanpur was badly beaten by the SSB men while he was returning home on a scooter at around 7:30 pm in the evening. Bishal sustained serious injuries on his head and blue-marks on the body due to the beating. He informed that the SSB men also vandalized his scooter. Following the incident, a joint troop of Nepal police and APF proceeded to the SSB's Jhyappujhala post and inquired with post's chief Chire Wengel. Chire Wengel claimed that none of his men were at duty around the place where the incident occurred. He, however, agreed to provide medical expenses to the injured victim.
