The cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front today seized 500 litres of fuel at Gaushala in the district and destroyed it, claiming it was smuggled in from India. The cadres seized 400 liters diesel and 100 liters petrol being transported in jerrycans on bicycle and motorbike. The UDMF has launched an agitation in the Terai-Madhes for over three months now against some provisions in the new constitution including the delineation of federal states.
