The District Court has slapped 20 years to a 31-year-old man on November 19, convicting him of raping a 7-year-old girl. A division bench of District Court Judge Binod Mohan Acharya slapped him with 10 years imprisonment for incest rape and additional 10 years for rape. The family of the victim filed a complaint against the man at the District Police Office on July 27, 2015, accusing him of raping the girl the same day. The victim underwent a medical check-up at Bharatpur Hospital the same day. Police arrested the accused on July 28. He was remanded in custody following the district court's order on August 21.
