Shova Gupta, 35, of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality-7 has been found murdered at a sugarcane field in Godar of Ganeshman Charnath-7 on the morning of November 21. ASI Sharada Shankar Sah of Portaha Police Post said that her body was found with a slit throat. The deceased had left home on November 16 following a dispute with her mother-in-law. Her body was found in a decaying state. Police suspected that she might have been murdered the same day. The locals said that she might have been murdered after rape. District Police Office Office said that investigation is ongoing into the incident. The body of the deceased has been sent to Janakpur Zonal Hospital for post-mortem.
