Police have arrested an elderly man from Bhumlichowk in Gorkha on charge of raping a disabled girl around a week ago. 70-year-old Indra Bahadur Gurung has been arrested by Nepal Police for allegedly raping an eighteen year old disabled girl who could not speak and hear properly. According to locals Indra Bahadur had raped the girl while she was in the field on March 21. Indra Bahadur's wife had witnessed the rape and had informed the villagers. Police arrested him after being notified of the rape on Saturday. The victim has undergone medical check-up at Gorkha Hospital.
