A woman in Nepalgunj-1 was murdered by her own husband at a time when the "16-day campaign on violence against women" was running throughout the country. 28-year-old Badali Kandu, resident of Nepalgunj-1 was found murdered in her own house on Tuesday afternoon. Through preliminary investigation, police have found that Badali Kandu was murdered by being hit on the head with a wooden log by her 35-year-old husband Ramsagar Kandu. Ramsagar Kandu is on the run following the murder. DSP Bhimkin Bogati of Banke District Police Office, informed that the victim occasionally faced violence at the hands of her husband. Police have been deployed to search for the accused murderer.
