Two arrested for black marketing in Mhepi

Police have arrested two men for black marketing of fuel from a restaurant in Mhepi of Kathmandu on Thursday. Police said that 34-year-old Jaya Ram Bhagan and 45-year-old Om Prakash Shah arrested for selling the fuel products at a higher rate than the market price. Both of the arrestees are permanent residents of Inaruwa-6 of Sunsari district.
A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur arrested the two with petrol, while they were selling the fuel for Rs 350 per litre from Derang Chhapachaur Gulmi Taru Guest and Restaurant, Mhepi, yesterday.
Police said further investigation into the matter is underway.
