A complaint has been filed against in-laws and husband of Pramila Nepali, 23, of Kubhukasthali VDC-3 on the charge of beating her to death. Father of Pramila, Bhim Bahadur Nepali filed the complaint against her husband Chitra Bahadur Pariyar and his family at the District Police Office, Ramechhap on December 21. Family members of Pramila had said that she died of consuming poison on December 17. However, her maternal family alleged her in-laws of beating her to death. Following the dispute between the two sides regarding her death, post-mortem of the deceased was conducted at Primary Health Center, Manthali four days later on December 21. Pramila was married to Chitra a year ago. According to her father, she was 3 months pregnant. Police arrested the accused Chitra on December 22.
