The Kailali District Police Office today revealed that her own husband was involved in the mysterious death of a woman in the Bujilya forest of the district. Police said Him Bahadur Nepali was the murderer of his wife Aarati. Aarati (17) was killed in the Bijuliya jungle by the Bhajani-Sukhad road on Wednesday. Him Bahadur (24) confessed of using a sharp weapon to commit the crime, said police. Lal Bahadur Dhami, Police Inspector at Bhajani Area Police Office, said Him Bahadur, however, registered a complaint claiming that his wife was brutally murdered by an unidentified gang and he escaped the attack. However, police had suspected him in connection to the incident as he had suffered nominal injuries on his hand. Police said the couple had some sour relationship for some time. They were permanent residents of Jhaljahliya, Bhajani-Trishakti Municipality-10 in the district.
