Morcha to close educational institutes in Janakpur from Friday

A constituent party of the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha on Thursday decided to intensify the agitation in Tarai-Madhes and enforced shutdown of schools and colleges as a part of its protest from Friday. An emergency meeting of the party also declared Janakpur FNCCI senior Vice-Chairman Bijay Kumar Shah, among four other businessmen, as anti-Madhes and decided to padlock their shops and business enterprises. Chairman of Samyukta Youth Struggle Committee, Dharbendra Shah, informed that they were compelled to dub FNCCI vice chair Shah, Ananda Jha, Pankaj Jain and Santosh Shah as anti-Madhes for their active involvement in the arson attack on motorbikes of Morcha’s leaders and manhandling them. Youth Struggle Committee’s Shah said they are planning to shud down entire market places except for medicine shops from Friday.
