A case has been filed by Area Police Office, Mirchaiya in District Court against 19-year-old Ram Subhak Pashwan, a resident of Badharamal VDC-2, on January 7 for attempting rape on a 12-year-old girl. Rape was attempted on January 6 and the family of the victim filed a complaint against the accused on the same day in Area Police Office, Marchaiya. Medical examination of the girl has been done in Siraha District Hospital. According to Inspector Kabindra Kumar Karki, the accused was arrested on the same day.
