A team of Nepal Army has defused diffused a pressure cooker bomb planted at the main gate of a cooperative on January 18. According to Lieutenant Amrit Gurung, Brigade no. 23 of Suryadal Battalion defused the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) kept inside a black bag at the main gate of Image Savings and Loan Cooperative Limited. SSP Chhabilal Joshi of the Zonal Police Office Baglung said that though the IED was seen on January 18, it might have been planted a day earlier. He said that the search for those involved in the incident is on. A letter warning the Cooperative Limited has also been found with the explosive device. The letter states that the bomb was kept as action against the Cooperative which keeps property with undisclosed sources and provides the amount to people on high interest.
