Police arrested two people on January 20 on the charges of raping a 16-year-old girl. Saroj Pariyar, 21, and Devnath Pariyar, 34, of Lekhnath Municipality 10 were arrested on the charges of raping the girl on January 19. The victim filed a complaint at the police on January 20 accusing that the duo infiltrated her house on the pretext of drinking water while nobody was in the house and raped her. A medical examination of the girl was conducted at the Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara on January 20.
