(Updated) A man murdered his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Saturday. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chitwan Basanta Kunwar said that Tribhuwan Kafle (38) of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City-7 was arrested for attacking his wife Jamuna at around 11 last night with the sharp weapon. Jamuna was critically injured in the incident and died at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, this morning while undergoing treatment. It has been learned that Kafle attacked his wife over a family dispute, SP Kunwar informed. Further investigation into the incident is underway, police added.
