22-year-old Surendra Bam and 19-year-old Prem Buda of Sipkhana VDC-8 were arrested by the police on February 3 in accusation of raping a 14-year-old girl. The victim filed an FIR on February 2 stating that she was raped by the two youths when she had gone to a fair near her home. Police informed that the victim is receiving treatment at Kalikot District Hospital and undergoing a medical check-up. According to DSP Kishan Singh Budal, the accused are being kept at custody for further investigation.
