Police have arrested a 13-year-old teenager from Shanibot of Sorungchhabise-6 of Udayapur on Thursday on the charge of raping a 7-year-old minor girl. In a complaint filed at area police office Katari on Thursday, the victim's family had reported that the arrested teenager had raped the minor girl on Wednesday at her house when she was alone. The victim's family came to know about the incident only after she told about her rape to her family. DSP Dipak Basnet of Area Police Office Katari informed that police has initiated an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, the victim has undergone medical check-up at Katari hospital.
