Earthquake victims stage a sit-in before DAO demanding winterization sum of Rs 10,000

Earthquake victims of four VDCs have staged a protest in front of District Administration Office, Dolakha claiming discrimination while distributing relief for winteraization. Acording to former VDC vice-chairperson of Magapauwa, Bharat Prasad Dhungana, 237 families are yet to receive Rs. 15,000 and 615 families have not received winterization amount of Rs 10,000 in Mangapauwa. The earthquake victims protested claiming that government has caused distress instead of providing relief. Similarly more than 450 families have not yet received Rs 15,000 winter relief in Pawati. Locals from Pawati, Magapauwa, Boch and Katakuti were present at the sit-in before the DAO.
