A man was arrested on the charge of murdering Yaruna Pun, aka Neha Pun, a popular face in Magar cinemas. Kaski Police on Monday made public 21-year-old Kirtan Khadgi aka Satish, a resident of the same village of Pun, charging him with the murder of the Magar the Cinema artist. Neha’s body was found wrapped in a black cloth near her house at Nayagaun, Pokhara-15 last Tuesday. Neha was working at Pokhara-based Smile cafe and had been a part of Magar films Gaula and Yupa. The police informed that they arrested the accused after a detailed investigation. Kaski Police SP Hari Bahadur Pal said, “The cause of death is a blunt-force trauma to the victims head. It was learned that Satish had murdered Pun after a detailed investigation.” SP Pal further informed that Satish in his statement admitted to killing Pun in a fit of rage after being verbally abused by her as she refused his proposal to stay in a lakeside hotel for a night.
