Police have registered a case against 19-year-old Upendra Paswan on Sunday on the charge of raping a minor girl on January 7. The victim's family had lodged a complaint at District Police Office Siraha on January 8 saying that Upendra had raped the minor girl. Police had conducted the medical examination of the victim at the district hospital on the same day. DSP Eknarayan Koirala of DPO Siraha informed that along with the main accused, 18-year-old Ramu Paswan and 19-year-old Birendra Paswan - alleged accomplices in the case were also held by the police on February 12. Police are further investigating into the incident by extending the remand against the accused.
