Justice Purna Prashad Bastola of the District Court of Mahottari has been arrested by the police over alleged sexual abuse on a woman. Justice Bastola was arrested while he had gone to Sish Hotel in Bardibas to have a snack on Sunday. Bastola was arrested on the basis of a woman's complaint to the police that Bastola had attempted to sexually abuse her in the hotel. At the time of his arrest, Bastola also had a Santro car bearing plate number Ba 11 Cha 5894 with him. Police have refused to reveal further information about the incident.
