Police have arrested 26-year-old Dal Bahadur Tamang, a resident of Mankha VDC-7, and his second wife Sushila Tamang,26yrs, on the charge of committing polygamy. They were arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by Dal Bahadur's first wife Dhan Kumari Tamang against the marriage at District Police Office on February 22. Dal Bahadur had married Sushila Tamang of Bhaladanda VDC-7 in Udayapur on February 2. Sushila and Dal Bahadur had fallen in love after being acquainted through Facebook. They are being held into custody for further investigation.
