Sushil Bote, a resident of Madi municipality-12 has been sentenced to 6 years in prison and fined rupees three lakhs by Chitwan district court for raping a 52-year-old woman. The decision was made by a verdict of district court justice Tek Narayan Kunwar. The verdict also ordered Ram Bote who had acted as an accomplice in the rape to be jailed for 25 days. The victim had filed a complaint on July 22, stating that she was raped by Sushil Bote. According to the victim, Ram Bote had acted as a guard waiting outside while Sushil was raping her. Both the accused were arrested on July 22. A medical examination of the victim was done at Bharatpur hospital on July 23
