An 18-year-old mentally challenged girl has fallen pregnant after repeatedly being raped by her own grandfather. Police investigation revealed that the girl had fallen pregnant due to being raped multiple times by her grand Father Dhan Bahadur Rai. The incident came to light after the girl, complaining of stomach ache went to the hospital and discovered that she had fallen pregnant. After being inquired about the pregnancy she revealed to her family that Dhan Bahadur had repeatedly raped her by threatening to kill her. Following the girl's statement police has initiated an investigation into the incident by arresting Dhan Bahadur Rai, said SP Bibhutiraj Pandey of Dhankuta Police. Dhan Bahadur Rai confessed to the police that he had raped the girl from July 31 to August 7. He is being held in the custody of the police. She was also raped in the past by one of her other grandfathers.
