40-year-old Ram Chandra Gharti, a permanent resident of Aappipal VDC, Gorkha currently staying at Sundarbazar municipality-4 has been arrested on March 1 in accusation of polygamy. Gharti was arrested based on a complaint filed by his first wife, 35-year-old Jamuna Adhikari on February 29. It was reported in the complaint that Adhikari had been living in her parents' house for the last 3 years after the relationship between the couple turned sour. Inspector Naresh Kumar Singh informed that investigation regarding the case is on-going.
