The District Police Office Kanchanpur arrested a 58-year-old man from Punarwas municipality-11 on Friday on the charges of raping a 22-year-old woman. The accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed at the police on Friday by his daughter-in-law accusing him of raping her. Police sent the victim to Mahakali Zonal hospital for medical examination. Police are further investigating the incident by holding the arrested into custody.
