Police arrested 38-year-old Ganesh Belbase of Khilji VDC-4 and 35-year-old Radha Gaire of the same place on March 11 on the charges of polygamy. Sita Belbase, the first wife of Ganesh filed a complaint of polygamy at the police against him and his second wife Radha on March 7. According to the complaint, Ganesh was living with Radha for the last three years though they did not get married. Inspector Sujan Raj Bhandari said that the couple was arrested based on the complaint and a case had been filed under polygamy.
