District Court of Makwanpur has sentenced 85-year-old Dhan Bahadur Moktan of Sukaura VDC-4 to 10 years in prison after finding him guilty of raping and making pregnant an 11-year-old girl. The verdict was issued by a bench of District Court justice Krishna Koirala on March 13. He also ordered to deduct 75% of the sentence considering his senior citizen status. He was arrested on September 12 on charge of rape case and was released on a bail of rupees one lakh on October 2.
