The district court, Kaski issued an interim order in the name of Ashok Kumar Bhattachan of Pokhara sub-metropolis 3 on March 24. The court issued the order 'for the enjoyment of personal freedom and protection of 9-year-old Nischitatta Bhattachan'. Nischitatta’s 45-year-old mother Ramila Bhattachan filed a complaint on March 20 against her husband saying that he did not provide food, clothing, and other needs to her and their daughter. According to the Shrestha, Dinbandhu Baral, the bench of district court judge Narayan Prasad Dahal issued the verdict.
