Youth arrested with home-made pistol in Siraha

A security inspection team from Area Police Office - Lahan has arrested a youth in possession of home-made pistol from Bishnupurkatti of Siraha on Sunday night. The 19-year-old youth, identified as Jitendra Mahato of Bishnupurkatti-4 was arrested on the basis of a special tip-off to the police, that he was carrying a weapon, informed DSP Raj Kumar KC of Area Police Office - Lahan. Police are further investigating into the incident by holding Mahato into custody.
