27-year-old Suntali Waiba Bomjan, a resident of Kalika municipality-8, has filed a complaint against her in-laws stating that she was mentally and physically tortured. Waiba's husband, Purna Bahadur Bomjan is abroad for employment. According to the victim, 65-year-old father-in-law Bhakta Bahadur Bomjan and 60-year-old mother-in-law Maili Bomjan have repeatedly tortured her while her husband is away. She has filed a complaint against the in-laws in Women and Children Service Center of District Police Office, Chitwan, demanding action against them.
