Case filed on marital rape charge in Khotang

A 24-year-old woman from Chyanam-8 in the district has filed a marital rape charge against her husband. The women filed the charge at District Police Office on Wednesday. She claimed that her husband Narayan Bahadur Basnet, under the influence of alcohol, repeatedly raped and tortured her. The investigation is underway and the accused is in custody.
