A Dalit youth from Jayaprithvi municipality-4 Chainpur was injured after being beaten by two youths from Jayaprithvi municipality-3 for refusing to give them the fishes he had captured at Seti river. 29-year-old Gyani Sunar was reportedly assaulted by 25-year-old Pradip Khadka and 27-year-old Sani Khadka after he refused to give them his fishe. He sustained injury marks on his body, head, and stomach due to the beating. He said that they also made racial slurs on him. A complaint has been filed against the attackers at the District Police Office on April 3. Meanwhile, Sunar is undergoing treatment at District Hospital in Simkhet.
