Police arrested 35-year-old Shyam Bahadur B.K on the charges of killing his 33-year-old wife Radhika B.K. of Khaan VDC-8, on April 18. According to the statement given by locals to the police, a fight between intoxicated Shyam and Radhika broke out on the evening of April 16 as he started beating her. Afraid of him, she went to their neighbor’s house and slept there. However, when she returned home the next morning, Shyam killed her with a sharp household weapon. Police informed that the relatives of the victim filed an FIR against Shyam Bahadur at District Police Office on April 17. According to the inspector of District Police Office, Sujan Raj Bhandari, the victim’s body underwent postmortem at District Hospital on April 17.
