District Court, Siraha sentenced Laxmi Narayan Yadav, 36, of Nawarajpur VDC-4 to five years of prison and Rs 25,000 as fine on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl on April 19. According to the governmental lawyer, Manoj Acharya, the bench of district court judge Amrit Bahadur Basnet gave this decision. Yadav had raped the girl on April 22, 2015, and the victims had filed a complaint at the local police station the next day.
