Man arrested with home-made gun in Morang

Police on Monday arrested a person in possession of illegal home-made gun from Pathari Sanischare-8 Municipality of Morang.
The arrested has been identified as Ram Aryal, 40yrs, of the same place. Aryal was arrested by police from Area Police Office Pathari after they heard sound of firing at Jirikhimti jungle and reached the site, informed Eastern Regional Police Office Biratnagar. Police had also fired two rounds into the air from SLR in response to the firing. The arrested is being held into custody at Area Police Office Pathari for further investigation.
